In Villa Inara

Villa Inara has a wide selection of recreational facilities to keep you entertained:

• There are DVD/VCD players in each of the four main bedrooms as well as in the living room and there is a docking station in the house as well as a Sonos system that you can control from your i-Phone.
• An extensive library of DVDs is available for guests use.
• Local magazines and literature on Phuket events, favourite restaurants and sightseeing are provided as well as our own guide, with contact numbers, of what we consider to be the best activities and restaurants.
• Board games and books are available for adults.
• Children’s entertainment, including toys, DVDs, games, books and beach toys are available for use by our young guests.
• And of course, there is the stunning turquoise 10-metre pool and beautiful garden in which to play or relax.
• Thailand is as well known for its relaxing beach massages as well as its world class spas. While the Villa manager will be happy to facilitate bookings at the well-known spas, many treatments can also be provided in the privacy of the Villa at a much reduced price. These may be arranged upon your arrival.
  

Children

Kids’ Facilities

To make your life easier, Villa Inara welcomes and provides for children of all ages.

Villa Inara is entirely enclosed by a wall and all external gates and doors can be securely locked so that you can rest assured that your children will not be able to leave the property without you. Wherever possible, sliding doors leading to balconies can be locked through normal door locks as well as latch locks placed out of a child’s reach.

As is usual in Asia, the pool is not fenced in however, it is easily visible from all downstairs areas and from most balconies also. Inside doors downstairs can be locked in the conventional way as well as with an extra latch to prevent children wandering outside and the pool is an even adult chest height throughout.

While Villa Inara’s own pool is private, the estate has a communal pool that guests are welcome to use and this also contains child friendly shallow areas.

• Equipment

For babies and toddlers:
- two travel cots
- two high chairs
- an Avent steriliser
- two small tables and 6 small chairs on which our younger guests can sit to eat, draw or play
- 2 changing mats
- A reclining chair suitable for babies up to 5 months

 

 

• Toys

Villa Inara also has a range of toys for all ages, board games and pool toys, buckets and spades to keep your little ones entertained and to help you to relax. There is also a selection of DVDs and books for your children to enjoy.

• Food

Our chef will be delighted to cook suitable meals for your children and, with advance notice, special dietary needs can be catered for. All our children’s meals are prepared using only fresh ingredients and minimum salt, sugar and fat. You can also order child friendly food for delivery by the excellent local Italian restaurant or feed your children delicious meals at the beach 5 minutes drive away.

We also have child-friendly plates, bowls, cups and cutlery and two small tables and stools at which children can eat in the kitchen to allow them to make a mess in comfort!.

• Essentials

To save you the stress of having to pack and bring with you all of your baby’s essentials, you may request that certain purchases be made in advance of your arrival. If you provide us with a list of your requirements in advance we will do our best to make sure these are awaiting you when you get to the Villa. All you need do is reimburse our housekeeper on arrival.

• Safety

To help ensure your child’s safety, wherever possible the doors have extra locks. However, this is of course no substitute for careful supervision of children, particularly in the vicinity of the balconies and pool.

• Baby-Sitting Service

Our owners and guests have personally employed various nannies and we are therefore able to recommend certain individuals to assist you with baby sitting. You can hire baby-sitters for a few hours, or have them reside in the Villa for the entire duration of your stay. Please mention any baby-sitting needs in your booking request and we will provide all the information for you and can help to make the necessary arrangements on your behalf.

 

Out and About in Phuket

Phuket boasts a wide variety of indulgent spas, sporting and adventure activities and sailing tours that are suitable for children and adults. On your arrival at Villa Inara you will find an information book containing our recommendations ranging from sailing to islands made famous by Bond….James Bond, to quad biking adventures to keep everyone occupied while mummy can sneak off and become yummy in one of Phuket’s many world class spas!
